John Tschirhart, owner and master builder for his company: Tschirhart’s Custom Billiards, provides one of the most unique finishes available as an upgrade option now available on our furniture lines. Through his extensive experience of woodworking and finishing, he has developed a process to finishing wood products that not only looks beautiful but is also exceptionally durable and long lasting. He has the following to say about his unique offering:
“For many years I have been working to perfect a hand-rubbed hot oil and wax finish. Oil enhances the natural beauty of the woods like no other finish. For the most part the biggest difference is this finish is in the wood as opposed to a build up on top of the wood. The end result is a sort of ‘antique French polish,’ or polished wood with ‘21st century’ technology. At the same time, this finish is much more environmentally friendly. Adding to preserve our air, forest and health. Most mass-produced billiard tables and furniture pieces use NGR and lacquer finish. Though lacquer is very hard, it does chip and wear. Your once new piece starts to look very used despite your care. With my standard hot oil and wax finish, you get durability and peace of mind.”
Dust Proofing
Our manufacturer has done this for those who’ve requested it. In their professional experience, this does not serve any extra benefit or strength to the overall construction of our solid wood furniture. The extra cost does not result in a better or superior product. Price depends on size.
Finished or Unfinished
You can purchase any products unfinished and stain them yourself. Some sanding is typically required for optimum result. Please contact us for a discounted price.

Delivery Time
It takes approximately 4-6 weeks from the time of receiving a deposit until the complete piece can be delivered. Please keep this in mind when ordering early for those special anniversary gifts or other occasions. Order early to avoid disappointments on delivery dates. Our delivery charge is based on your Postal or Zip Code so please include this when contacting us for shipping costs.

Warranty
We provide a 30 day manufacturers warranty on the workmanship. Please keep in mind solid wood furniture needs 50% humidity +/- 10%. You can purchase with confidence, as you understand what changes can or may not occur in the wood environment of your home.
